My thesis deals with the Swede, Gunnar de Frumerie and his song series Hjärtats sånger.

There is my interest in the song compositions Gunnar de Frumerie in the background of my subject of my dissertation and that of these works of my observation so the enthusiasts as well as among the experts of the field unknown.

I try to bring out de Frumerie song compositions with the help of one song series. At the same time I give instructions for the presenting of the song in my work.

The objective is to make the reader become interested in the Hjärtats sånger song series and also interpret through it and phrase Swedish songs.

The central material of my dissertation has been obtained from the books, the Svensk musik of Herbert Connor and 33 svenska komponister of Göran Bergelund. It also was as help the article written by Frumerie himself and the memoirs of his friends.

As a final result of my thesis, I try to give the answers to the objectives of the work how text and musical problems sections of the work are solved from the point of view of the singer.
