We made an orientation folder to substance abuse rehabilitation center of Karvoshovi as a thesis. We had our internship in Karvoshovi, employers asked us to make our thesis for them about this subject. We found that the orientation folder needed an update so that study of this folder would be practical and consistent.

The focus of our thesis is to create common work methods for employers and students in Karvoshovi. The common linings in work methods between employers increase patient safety and create a positive atmosphere. Because of the challenges of mental health and substance abuse work, common linings in work methods between employees become even more significant.

Employers of Karvoshovi made an oral assessment of our orientation folder and they were satisfied with the folder. Assessment said that the folder was easy to read and clear. Employers were satisfied because they got the orientation also in electronic form so it is easy to update when practice changes.

The increasing combined use of drugs is a significant challenge in substance abuse work. The challenge in helping polydrug users is apply helping methods for different drugs. The meaning of a substance abuse treatment law is to reduce health and social problems caused by the problem use of drugs and to increase safety between drug user and his family.
