Remote access: When in Leevi login with your Oulu UAS e-mail account username and password (HAKA login) or use VPN-connection (Instructions).

In Oulu UAS campus network no logging in or VPN-connection is needed.

1. Type the search term(s) in the search field and perform the search

   Tip: enclose phrases in quotation marks eg. “game programming”
   Tip: you can search with both a phrase and a search term eg. “organic food” consumer

2. Click the tab ”E-articles and e-books”
3. Tick “Full text available” from the “Narrow search” –menu

   Tip: search finds also e-articles/e-books that Oulu UAS library has no access to. “Full text available” narrows the search results to those that are accessible

4. You can also narrow your search in other ways
5. You can access the full text of the e-article / e-book from the “Available online” link(s) below the article / book information.

   For example EBSCO host … or ProQuest … or SAGE Premier … etc.
   There can be several links, if the full text is available via several service providers.
   ProQuest links that start with http://search.proquest.com/docview/... cannot be used remotely. Choose another ProQuest-link available.
   Some of the older ProQuest Safari e-books are not accessible. In such cases click Ebrary Academic –link if available.

Tip: If you leave from the search result view, you can return by clicking from the upper menu “Search functions” and then “Search history”. From the “Search history” you can also save searches for later use.
